Time left for the first
match at "Dinamo"
It is the second day when hundreds of fans are thronging the Trafalgar square where a fan zone is arranged as part of the Euroleague Final Four currently being held in London.
Having watched a charity match where famous sportsmen were involved, among them: football players Christian Karembeu and Rober Pirès, basketball players Ramūnas Šiškauskas and Trajan Langdon, fans moved to VTB Arena park sector to take part in three-pointers. Winners will get T-shirts, caps, other keepsakes and the ticket to the “Final Four” as the grand prize of the competition.
Boards with the project’s logo are set out along the parapet leading to the National gallery where one could find plenty of pictorial art masterpieces. VTB Arena sector presents an artistic surprise: English designers created 3D installation so that everyone could take photos near eminent Admiral Nelson with historical West stand of Dynamo Central stadium as a background. Construction works will be started shortly on the Stadium within implementation of VTB Arena park project.
On the 1st of June the Red Square in Moscow will take up the baton from the Trafalgar square where a student basketball festival will take place under the aegis of VTB Arena. The best student teams included in ISBL are going to participate.
Andrei Peregoudov, Senior Vice-President of JSC VTB Bank, VTB Arena park Project Director:
“We’ve started close cooperation with such a prestigious and influential organization as Euroleague. Competitions organized by Euroleague on the high-end venues and conducted under its auspices always draw a full house. We are certain that our cooperation will be mutually beneficial. Moscow will finally get an arena specifically for basketball games so that our partners can hold their matches already in 2018. Partnership with Euroleague is the first step towards promotion of our project on the world stage. And our participation in a high-profile event like the “Final Four” will attract additional public attention to our ambitious project”.
