Time left for the first
match at "Dinamo"
Monday, April 3, the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin visited the construction site of the Sports and Concert/Entertainment Complex VTB Arena Central Stadium “Dynamo” named after Lev Yashin.
The President/Chairman of VTB Bank (PJSC) Andrey Kostin, First Deputy President/Chairman of VTB Bank (PJSC) Vasily Titov, Senior Vice President of VTB Bank (PJSC) and the head of the project “VTB Arena Park” Andrei Peregoudov demonstrated the progress of construction works to the Mayor.
Sergey Sobyanin noted that “Dynamo” would become again a center of leisure activities for the Moscow citizens and one of the biggest sports parks of Moscow. “Here, in the historical place of the old Dynamo Stadium, a unique sports complex is being built anew. It is unique not only for Moscow but also for the entire country. Two facilities are united under one roof: a football arena and an ice rink. The next step will be to build the athletic-training complex and to landscape the 8-hectare sports park,” said the Mayor.
The head of VTB Arena Park Andrei Peregoudov added that the arena was currently undergoing an important stage of construction process. According to his words, the major structural works were finished and the Dynamo Stadium itself would be commissioned in Spring 2018.
“Today we’ve showed our stadium to the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin”, Andrei Peregoudove noted. “Now we are in the middle of a very important construction process when major structural works are done and it’s time for fit-out works and finishing of the Stadium. Another important advantage of our project is the constructed metro station “Petrovsky Park” connecting us with the Moskva-City. The city authorities promised us to complete the passage between the metro stations “Petrovsky Park” and “Dynamo” by Spring 2018 so that we could finish all façade works next to the metro exits. After the 2018 World Cup is over, we will be able to mobilize the construction of the Sports Academy near the Stadium. It is planned to be finished by mid-2019.
